Our doors opened in 1987, after John's department was closed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Seeing a need for tool and cutter grinding in the Akron area, he decided to open a shop in his garage, relying on his 16 years of experience as a machinist and tool grinder. From the beginning, he made a commitment to his customers to help them save money by reconditioning their used cutters as an alternative to buying new ones.
Since our doors have opened, we have grown to work with over 400 local area and national shops and more than 30 distributors. We have grown to this size by word of mouth only. We look forward to continue to grow and provide all of your cutting tool needs.
Our vision for the future is to continue to provide a quality tool at an affordable price in a timely manner for you, our customers.
